I work where QA and product meet.

I'm Giorgiana Lehene, the person behind Strategiana. I work directly with product teams on quality across requirements, testing, release decisions and product behaviour.

A solo product quality practice.

Strategiana is my independent QA and Product Quality practice. I work directly with every team I take on, from the first product conversation through the hands-on work and findings.

I keep the number of concurrent engagements limited so I can stay close to the product, understand its context and work consistently with the people building it.

If you want to start with one clearly defined workflow, Workflow Testing offers a smaller fixed-scope entry point. For a defined product area, workflow or release, I offer a focused Product Quality Sprint. For teams that need ongoing support, I work fractionally each month.

Giorgiana Lehene, founder of Strategiana

My background is in hands-on QA across web and mobile products. Over the years, my work expanded into the decisions surrounding what gets built: clarifying requirements, questioning assumptions, identifying edge cases and working with Product and Engineering before implementation was complete.

I've worked on products across banking, e-commerce and financial software, including systems with connected entities, business rules, permissions, status transitions and multi-step workflows.

That experience shaped how I approach product quality today. I want to understand the rule behind a feature, the scenarios around it and the behaviour a user eventually encounters.

I follow product decisions from requirement to release.

When I look at a feature, I check the expected behaviour and explore the paths around it. I look for business rules that can be bypassed, scenarios that have not been considered, requirements that allow multiple interpretations and behaviour that may be unclear to the person using the product.

Some findings are functional bugs. Others are missing decisions, edge cases, release risks or friction in the user journey. I make those distinctions visible so the team can decide what needs attention.

This is also where friction mapping fits into my work: identifying places where product behaviour creates unnecessary uncertainty, effort or misunderstanding for the user.
